So, we all know how to make gold right? Gathering professions, crafting professions, farming locations, old content raids... blah blah blah and so on... But there's a huge difference between how some Joe Shmoe (which used to be me) picks a few herbs and how a Gold Maker does it. So just like Tony Stark, I made a few upgrades that drastically improved what I was already doing. Check it out. |
| The two best Legion foods I've found to be most beneficial when farming are Bear Tartare and Fighter Chow. In a previous post, I already covered the benefits I've found with Bear Tartare (click here to read it). But with the Fighter Chow, especially when I'm farming Starlight Rose, it saves me the time of having to pause to heal myself. For example, there's an area in Suramar where I take heavy damage from the spiders because they root me with their webs. I don't want to waste the time to kill them, so when I'm able to run off, the food buff will bring me back to 100% health very quickly. Remember time is money. Video provided by BellularGaming. |
| In my travels, I still see folks doing these gathering professions like freaking amateurs. What I mean is you're never going to see me Skinning, Herbing, or Mining without one of the Legion Glove Enchants. Now I'm not sure if there's a mount that has the same benefit for the other gathering professions, but the Sky Golem is an absolute must for Herbalism. The benefit of remaining mounted while gathering is pretty self explanatory. Another thing I do when farming is I'll make sure I'm in Tank Spec specifically for one reason. To counter the Dazed effect, which will dismount you. Tanks don't fall victim to this effect, but for you none tank specs, the Stonehide Leather Barding will give you a 2 hour immunity to this debuff. Next, I'm gonna cover maneuverability. A few items I use in particular are the Underlight Angler, Anglers Fishing Raft, Rocfeather Skyhorn Kite, Emerald Winds, and the Starlight Beacon. Video provided by Studen Albatroz. |
| The Underlight Angler is great for me when I need to cross a water obstacle very quickly. I can equip it while I'm mounted, and still receive the water walking or swim speed buff, which is extremely beneficial. Sometimes I prefer the Anglers Fishing Raft because it allows me to use my Tiger's Lust across the water when I just need to get in and get out quickly. Video provided by MadSeasonShow. |
| When it comes to the Rocfeather Skyhorn Kite and the Emerald Winds, these two toys are just perfect together. They come in handy when I need to jump off of a high area to get to a particular farming spot or when it comes to crossing a huge distance without wasting a lot of time fighting my way through. | This is just one of those things that come in handy if the situation permits. Occasionally I've found myself just barely out of reach of something I want to gather. So I'll use my Starlight Beacon to give me that little bit of extra height to fly to those spots I can't just simply jump to. Video provided by MadSeasonShow. |
