The latest hero to join Overwatch is named Orisa. From what I've seen, she's a beautiful four legged, nearly indestructible robo-tank with a shield, gravity grenades, and a plasma cannon for an arm! Oh, and her favorite color's green.
Now on the public test region on PC, Orisa is a new Tank hero with many different functions. Built by an 11-year-old genius named Efi Oladele, Orisa's primary purpose is "to keep you safe."
For a Tank, Orisa has some pretty cool abilities. Below you'll find videos showcasing them, but if you like, you can also read more in depth at her hero page on the Overwatch website.
Also known as her right arm, she can shoot enemies with sustained fire at a pretty decent range.
Increases armor, reduces damage taken and grants immunity to movement impairing effects and debuffs.
Basically a gravity bomb that slows nearby enemies, pulls them in and explodes.
A stationary shield that she places down on the ground to protect herself and allies from enemy attacks.
This is her ultimate, which is a stationary device that powers up allies (within its line of sight), increasing the amount of damage they deal.
So just in case you're also wondering the who, what, when, and where on Orisa, Overwatch director Jeff Kaplan shed a little light on her origins in this developer update video below:
